I*EAT charity fundraiser with Bosh appearance for Oposium

Oposium join the bill for the next "1" concert in Bournemouth alongside bands Bosh and Tom Whitman on 23rd May 2009. The event is to raise the profile and fundraise for the new I*EAT charity, founded by Jessica Griffiths whose husband Dave Griffiths is the lead singer for Bosh and one of the "1" organisers. The I*EAT charity concert will take place at Strouden Park Chapel in Bournemouth.

Oposium headlined the last "1" event in Winton last month with support from Tom Whitman and are excited to be invited to play again. As this is a charity show, each band will be perform roughly 25 minute sets, and more bands will be confirmed on the lineup nearer to the date.

Burning Piano Stage Performance a success!

Oposium pulled off playing their burning piano spectacle on stage at Centre Point, Winton in Bournemouth this weekend. With an extended version of their anthemic track 'I Will Wait For You', Richard (aka Mr Hair) played the piano and sang while it burned. The band had built their bespoke piano over the last month setting the pyrotechnics off with a bespoke Marshall amp footswitch.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible at Centre Point in Winton. Special thanks especially to Colin Young and everyone at Centre Point Church. Also thank you to everyone who came and raved with us - it was awesome fun!
